• NATIONAL AGENCY BUILDING PROGRAMS Welcome to my HBW Glendale Agency Development Division. I am Edwin B. Blanco, Agency Vice-President of HBW Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. After ten years (1992 - 2002) in the financial industry and working with a BTIDcompany, I decided to become an independent agent. When I left that BTID company, my first inclination was to remove myself from the industry altogether. I was frustrated with the structure of a captive company and the limited product lines to offer my clients. I was just truly a life insurance agent / salesman.
In my last ditch effort to find a company or companies to work with, I came across HBW Insurance & Financial Services. After attending a few conference calls and a training event, I became convinced that the integrity and vision of the company was exactly what I was looking for.
HBW Insurance and Financial Services offer a wide range of product lines from a strong group of carriers. It is my belief that we can find exactly what it is the client needs and not what we have to “sell” them. HBW Insurance and Financial Services has been in business for several years and has recently added an agency development division that allows agents to mentor other agents on an override system. It is this system and the ability to have the right products with several carriers that forged my decision to continue in the industry.
HBW Glendale Group Division is a nationwide financial agency-building group based in Glendale, CA. We provide a place for financial professionals to achieve extraordinary personal production, as well as the ability to build a network of independent agents who will develop a solid residual income. We have three criteria for our new agents: 1. Join our team. With a solid base of companies in the areas of life insurance, annuities, home loans and disability coverage, we believe we have our clients’ best interests at heart. With agents in 48 states, we are a part of every community. 2. Be willing to learn. Do you have the desire to learn? Not every organization trains their professionals. We do. We have three training events per year, plus a weekly training conference call. 3. Be a person of your word. This is by far the most important of our criteria. We are also a non-captive agency that allows you to write for carriers outside of the HBW scope.
